What we believe

What fundamentally drives the Empowered Evangelism project is our belief in the truth of who The Lord Jesus is, as clearly set out and detailed in Holy Scripture. We believe that:

1. God is Triune in being. Father, Son and Holy Spirit - all equal and co-existent
2. God created man in his image. Through Adam's first act of rebellion, and our own subsequent acts of rebellion, we have ALL fallen short of the standard that God rightfully expects and demands of us
3. God being a just, and righteous, God must punish all wrong doing - which means that we all deservedly are under the judgement of God
4. When we stand before God, on Judgement day, we will each one give an account for our lives. Where that account falls short of God's requirement, eternal punishment will be the outcome - Hell
5. God has provided a way in which to be saved, by sending His only Son in order that the punishment, that should be placed on us, was put on him thus providing satisfaction of God's righteous judgement, but grace to provide a way unto salvation
6. The outcome of this act of atonement is that those who put their trust in the atoning work of The Lord Jesus, can expect to live for all eternity with God in a, yet to be created, future existence - the New Heavens and New Earth.
7.  There is one God and one mediator between God and man, the man Lord Jesus.
8. As well meaning, and sincere, as those from other faiths may be, their is no other faith, and no other name that will save a human being from the wrath of God. Jesus is the only atonement that satisfies God - He is the ONLY way. No man shall come to the Father except by Him
9. True reality can be expected to be known with the Holy Bible providing all wisdom and knowledge necessary to understand the nature of our human existence
10.  We all have the responsibility to share our faith in whatever way we can. We are all tasked with making disciples of all nations
